Diana Mangsen earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts in 2005. She relocated to Florida and passed the Florida Bar Exam on her first attempt in 2006. Diana is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar. She is admitted to practice in the Florida State Courts and in the Florida Middle District Federal Court.Diana has her own private law practice, Mangsen Law, PLLC. Her firm is dedicated to the legal needs of elderly and disabled clients. Diana understands that coming in to the office is too difficult for some of her clients. In those cases, Mangsen law makes visits to client homes or healthcare facilities to provide the legal services.
In addition to being a licensed attorney, Diana is also a Registered Nurse. She chose to change careers after working exclusively in health care for many years.
Regulatory Compliance
Before opening her own firm, Diana practiced healthcare regulatory compliance in two large publicly traded national healthcare organizations. Because of this, she understands the inner workings of the healthcare system, and has a deeper understanding of the problems individuals face when meeting their healthcare needs.
Nursing Career
Diana spent 15 years working as a Registered Nurse in the largest health care system in Central and Western Massachusetts. UMass Memorial Health Care is partnered with the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and is a not-for-profit health care network which provides all levels of primary to advanced health care. In addition to standard methods of care, UMMHC offers state-of-the-art and sophisticated levels of medical technology and has been ranked highly for the care it provides.
In addition to working with the patients at UMMHC, Diana co-developed the Medical Ethics committee and served as chairperson for two years. Through this committee work Diana grew to understand the importance of estate and long-term care planning.
Diana has given presentations and conducted trainings, workshops and seminars at local, state, and national levels. She willingly shares her knowledge with other members of the legal and medical fields.
